IDEA's AI
We pay for the AI requests.
- Nothing to set up: sign in and start building
- A usage quota applies each hour, so the shared capacity stays available to everyone
- When you reach it, generation pauses until the hour rolls over
30 days of notice, in writing, on this page
We may introduce paid plans one day. If we do, this is how it will happen.
Pricing, plainly
Is there a catch, a trial clock or a card required?
No. There is no trial period, no card form and no checkout anywhere in the product. You create an account and use the full builder.
Why is there an hourly quota if it is free?
Generation that runs on IDEA's AI account costs us money per request, so an hourly quota keeps it available for everyone. Connect your own AI provider key in Settings and that quota no longer applies to you.
Will IDEA always be free?
We are not promising that. What we do promise is notice: if paid plans are introduced, they will be announced on this page at least 30 days before they take effect, and nothing will be charged without you choosing a plan.
What happens to my projects if pricing changes?
You own the code generated for your projects, and you can download any project as a ZIP at any time, including during a notice period. An announcement would state exactly what stays free.
